SLIPKOTEĀ® 994 SYNTHETIC DBC LUBE

Description

SLIPKOTE 994 DBC LUBRICANT is formulated from pure synthetic base oils and is selectively treated with rust, oxidation and anti-wear additives coupled with a shear stable thickener to provide maximum parts protection in a wide range of temperatures from -45°F to 425°F

SLIPKOTE 994 DBC LUBRICANT is non-melting, has a high dielectric strength and is insoluble in water, glycol, glycerine and vegetable oils. SLIPKOTE 994 DBC LUBRICANT is designed to be compatible with most plastics and rubbers, especially ethylene propylene terpolymer (EPDM, EPT) commonly used in Disc Brake Caliper systems. The distinctive Green color makes it easy to identify during and after application.

Usage

SLIPKOTE 994 DBC LUBRICANT was originally designed as an economical problem solving, anti corrosion lubricant for all moving caliper hardware, backing plates and seals of Disc Brake Caliper assemblies. However, due to its water, chemical and corrosion resistance capabilities it is an excellent choice in a wide variety of automotive, marine, agriculture, and industrial applications. Directions

Wire brush the caliper housing and anchor plate to remove all dirt and dust. Apply SLIPKOTE 994 DBC LUBRICANT to all moving caliper hardware, mating surfaces and steel backing plates of the disc brake pads. Any excessive grease squeezed out from between mating surfaces must be removed. KEEP LUBRICANT OFF BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS.

STORAGE & SHIPPING LIMITATION: None - Handle as a normal petroleum product.
